Play for Free Gaps Solitaire Online

Free Gaps Solitaire is a single-player card game that looks like a gaps. That's where it gets its name. The game uses 52 cards. They're laid out in four rows of 13 cards each.

Playing field

The playing field consists of four horizontal rows, each with 14 cells. At the beginning of each game, the leftmost cell of each row is empty and is intended for placing the ace. The remaining cells are filled with cards in random order.

The game interface consists of several buttons: "New Game", "Start Over", "Undo Move" and “Hint". There is also a "Shuffle" button on the table, which when pressed shuffles the cards in all four rows. This feature allows you to get additional move options if there are no other options left.

With each new move, the number of moves is recorded on the screen. Based on the number of moves made, you can compete in the rankings with other participants.

Game Goal

The goal of Gaps Solitaire online is to collect a sequence of cards of the same suit in each row, from ace to king, in ascending order of rank. The ace is the lowest card, and the king is the highest. When all rows are filled with ordered sequences, the game is won.

Game Rules

To maximize the profitability of each hand, several mandatory rules must be followed:

  1. At the very beginning of the game, move the aces to the empty leftmost cells of each row.
  2. Subsequent cards must be moved to the empty cells according to the following rule: the card must be the same suit as the card to its left and differ by one rank.
  3. There can only be one suit per row, and the sequence must be strictly from Ace to King.
  4. If you run out of moves, you can press the "Shuffle" button, but you can only shuffle three times.
